Greens for children

Hallo everybody,

Today I wanted to talk about children and greens.

It is really, really , really important to make sure, that your raw children have plenty of greens. Even if you don`t raise your kids on a rawvegan diet you could still give them greens in a juice or smoothie for example.

Our children love their greens. They eat a big variety, of spinach, kale, wild edibles and sometimes chlorella. They have a green smoothie twice a day and in between some green leaves with their fruits and vegtables.

Our daughter Ronja, which is our first 100% Rawfood child likes to eat daisies or any kind of green leaves freshly picked. She is so natrual with this, that she never questions it.

One of the biggest mistakes raising rawfood children to leave out the greens. Yes, it is maybe hard to get used to them, or pick them, but everybody can do it!!! You can for example just grow them in your garden, that way you make sure you always have fresh greens. And by the way: children really enjoy gardening. It is fascinating for them to see something grow and even better to eat it.
