The secret of Raising happy and healthy raw food children
We have many coconuts, and yesterday I found a big Jackfruit fallen of a tree here! That was great!
There are some really simple principles about the wellbeing of our
children.
The first, and maybe most obvious one is, that you have to be as happy and balanced as possible yourself.
Children are are so perfect mirrors of ourself, and they will reflect anything we send out, back to us.
They will learn from you. They will imitate you, if you are doing good or bad. So do all the best to yourself, and your children will imitate that!
Concentrate on happy images and thoughts, fill yourself up with joy and once you are filled, you will overflow and sent it out to your loved ones!
A good way to do this, is to tap in your childs world. Share yourtime together, play funny games.
There is so much joy and happiness there, when we would only take the time and perceive it.
Children are truly wise masters in teaching happiness!
Watch them, learn from them. If we could just let them be the way they are and not disturb them in their progress, that would be the
best thing we could do, to let them become special, happy and healthy human beings!
Share living food and be a good example.
You can only be happy as a family, if you are all healthy and balanced.
Living food is the key for that. But it is the same again here. You have to show them how blissful you feel with your diet.
Dont talk to much about it. We tend to talk to much.
Sit down and enjoy a beautiful green smoothie. Do not encourage your kid to join you. Just sit and enjoy.

Maybe not with your first, but surely after the second time you did that, your children will become curious and want taste it.

Share value time together.
Your children love you so much for what you are, they want to spent time with you. Do not watch TV together. Play a game, talk to each other, go outside, BE together not just physically but also mentally.
Try to make it a good time. Have fun, enjoy your time together!
If your kids go to school, do not take it to serious. There is so much stress on them in this place, so try to not make it worse.
If you talk to them, go close and meet at their level.
If you have young kids, than go on your knees to speak to them from the same level.
See and treat them as equal.
Newest research shows that even newborn babies have total develpoped senses. They fully understand what is going on with them!
Just explain if they ask you!
Let them make their own experiences. We adults talk far to much!

Why it is important to get knowldege before going raw!

After we have been travelling for more than a month, and enjoying the sun, sea and fruits here in south-east asia, we had to go to Malaysia to renew our visa for Thailand.
And we arrived back on our beautiful, tropical island here and are happy to that we found another beautiful place.
We are still eating a lot of ripe, tropical fruits, coconuts and have green juices every day. It just feels awesome together with the warm sea we have, the weather and the holiday energy!
But today I want to write to you because there is a special reason. During my coaching, I have contact with so many people from all over the world, and see that one major problem why people are not successful with their transformation towards a healthier lifestyle, that they simply lack information.
You need to inform yourself about the options, and the background of a lifestyle change. Especially when you want to go raw, you need to get as much knowledge as you can get, in order to be prepared.
You need this preparation to eliminate all your doubts and "but,..." to be fully convinced about your change. You also need this knowledge, to have a god position when people want to argue with you about this.
Especially when family, or friends want to talk it out of you, you can limit the space of doubts and being not sure, by knowing facts. By getting the knowledge, you also will be able to check your goal, and what you want to achieve with it. This all will help you so much to really succeed with what you want to do!

Raw food diary december 8, 2009
We start our day - after swimming in the sea altogether - again with some green! We have created a real power drink which is truely magical. We buy celery (which is far smaller but more powerful here), and dark green leave veggies at the market here. The dark leaves are unknow by us, but we have tested them and they are packed with life force and nutrients, we can feel that. So we juice the green and the celery with the help of our Vitamix and a nutmilk bag.
Than we open 3-4 young coconuts which contain a lot of best, fresh coconut water. We use the water and also all the white flesh. We add some more water and a little bucket of ice, to make it cool (boy it is so warm here 24 hours!), and 4 bananas. Just a spoon of Maca and here we go!
The most powerful drink you can imagine!!
This also helps to reduce the need to eat, because we are very well nourished by this nutritional bomb.

After noon, we have durian (but not so much anymore - we are almost filled with the good things in durian), and some other fruits, a handfull of raw cashews, or a cucumber.
After several times in the warm sea, playing some ball, sweating and showering we complete the day with a big salad, and a good dressing. I have started to sit on the warm beach in the night after everybody is sleeping.
I sit there only dressed with my sorts, watching the stars, surounded by the sea and thinking about my life filled with gratitude.

We are off to Thailand in 3 days!!
In just 3 days - on Sunday, we are off for the winter! Jippieh! The kids (and we adults) are already counting the days since 2 weeks. Our children even say in the evening: " please let`s go to bed really early, so that Sunday comes faster!"
That is so cute! We are in the middle of preparing and packing, even though we feel relaxed.
Maybe it is because we have already travelled as a family so much.
We know Thailand and we know how it feels there. Just great! yet we are filled with joy and excitement of our adventorous life that lies ahead of us!

We started our day with a green smoothie with maca. The kids had some carrots and avocado after that.
Just yesterday some kelp noodles arrived in our mailbox, so we were all excited of celebrating a special meal today. We made a cashew basil pesto and prepared veggies.
So this was kelp noodles with pesto. We had carrots, tomatos, salad and cucumber with it. This was great. In the afternoon we had a biiig green juice, Jaro just made.
We are juicing kilos of wild edibles these days, and once more chickweed our favorite. The picture you see, is around 6 kilos!!
The juice was celery, kale, carrot, and chikweed.
This amount does last for maybe 2 or 3 days.
There was a nice fruit meal for dinner. A honey melon. This was it. I enjoyed another relaxed evening in the pool and sauna, to do my training

Rawfoodfamily food diary 13/11/2009
We are preparing and organizing, while all of our online work is continuing.
Food wise it is still a miracle. I personally still eat so little since a couple of weeks, that I cant`t believe it myself.
But I feel awesome with this little amount of food!
I really concentrate on the green juice. I have the impression, that since I juice also wild edibles in my - our - juice, the need for real food has just decreased. I don`t know for sure, but this might be a connection.
So lets get real what we ate today.
I had a big glas of Water this morning, with super green powder and chlorella.
After that I shared the green smoothie ceremony with my family.
We had spinach, banana and water plus a little maca in this smoothie.
The kids had a mish mash afterwards. This is avocado and crushed carrot, cucumber and pieces of tomato all mish-mashed together with a drop of oil and some salt. They love that. Benny loves it even more simple. He just wanted and had plain carrot and avocado.
As lunch they had 2 kakies each together with wild edibles. We eat chickweed these days, because it doesn not taste bitter at all.
I had a little tiny piece of chocolate at afternoon, and a big glas of green juice in the evening.
The green juice for all, was made out of kale, chickweed (growing wild here in the forest), celery and 3 carrots.
Kids had a chocolate udding as dinner. Thats avocado, honey, lucuma and carob powder.
I will have a little handful of cashews and some dates lateron this evening, after a swimming and sauna session her, but that is it!

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 07/11/2009
Anyway: Over the last days, I was eating very little. I mostly was drinking. No need for solid food. Felt great.
The kids of course eat normal. We had lots of avocado, carrots, cucumber tomatos mish-mashs. Also we had some nice ripe fruits like honey melon and kakies for in between. Today the kids and Katie had a big salad as diner with avocado, orange and a little bit of soya sauce as dressing.
I had some greener gras powder with water for breakfast, but
I mostly lived on Green juices with celery, wild edibles out of our garden, apples picked from our apple tree , or grapes also from our garden, carrots, black kale.
I also had choco smoothies once a day. That is hemp seeds, bananas, water, cacao powder, maca and a tiny bit of salt.
That was what I had for the last 4 days. Yesterday there was a small salad (one big handful), but this was it.

Rawfoodfamily food diary 1/11/2009
The kids couldn`t wait, for it and woke up quite early.
We enjoyed this with all our heart and soul, and felt completly nourished until noon.
Then we had a green smoothie with marine phytoplankton and some maca (spinach, kale, water and banana).
Lateron we went to the aquarium in Torquay, a place the kids really love.
We enjoyed ourself as a family and spent the afternoon there. See them talking to the pinguins.
At home we made a big green juice out of nettles, celery, kale, spring greens, carrots, and oranges.
Everybody had a big glass, and I 2 of `em.
Then we had a big salad with some cashew basil pesto, and a nice medjool date after that.
This was the dinner, and the kids went to bed. I went to my first party since months, and it was a non raw food party.
They had pancakes, drank alcohol and smoked (thank good outside and not in the room!).
I really deeply enjoyed myself there, and had the feeling that I could share with them and connect with them. I really enjoyed myself so much being at this party and socialising plus connecting, without the need of swallowing the food, or liquid everybody was consuming.
I just had 2 glasses of water, felt so fresh, clear and still part of the party.
On the same hand I realised how far away this consumtion is for me.
Very interesting and inspiring. I went home at 1am, surrounded by the full moonlight and its magical power, dreaming about our holiday in Thailand.
I love life!!

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 30/10/2009
(spinach, bananas, water), with some goji berries and maca.
After that they had an avocado and carrots plus some grapes
We made a nice mish-mash for lunch (avocado, carrots, cucumber, tomatos). The kids love this these days.
Lateron there was a biiig green juice (celery, nettles, spring greens, lale, carrots, beet root, 3 apples).
The rest of the family had a mushroom salad with tomatoes, cucumber, some olive oil , carrots and,... mushrooms (champignons)
I had nothing, just before I went off swimming again, I had a handfull of cashews and some dates.
After my training I had 3 slices of watermelon, and 2 liters of hemp smoothie (hemp, banana, cacao powder, maca, agave, a bit of salt). I feel great!

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 28/10/2009
The kids are packing their backpacks twice every day, and walk around saying bye-bye to us going to Thailand when leaving the living room going to the kitchen. LOL
Sorry, the last update was a while.
Our laptop was damaged and neede repair, and so we couldn`t update the way we wanted. Anyway. I had green juices every day, some days twice a day. Almost all juices were with wild edibles. Mostly with dandelion and nettles
Today I even started the day with a green juice and no smoothie.
We all enjoyed the empowering effect and started in the day with a lot of energy. There was some marine phytoplankton and coconut juice in the juice, so it was a true superfood juice!!
We had a hemp smoothie for lunch and just a piece of chocolate in the afternoon. Kids had some mandarines and an apple in between.There was a nice salad with avocado dressing for evening, and that was about it. I ended the evening in the swimming pool with a big workout and the sauna as nice topping!

Rawfoodfamily food diary 23/10/2009
I had my green smoothie sitting in the bright sun of fall and feeling good.
The kids had another mish-mash they really loved, but I was fine with a big glas of water and some marine-phytoplankton.
I had a hemp-choko shake early afternoon.
Unshelled hemp, 4 bananas, raw chocolate powder, maca, water and a bit of himalayan salt.
My main "meal" was the green juice again.
1kilo of sprimg greens and kale, 2 bunches of celery, 3 apples, 2 oranges, 5 carrots.
GRRRRRRREEEEEAT!
The kids had some salad and veggies for evening and I a handfull of cashews and dates. I want for a good swim and sauna in the eveneing! Felt great today

Rawfoodfamily food diary 22/10/2009
We woke up, made our green smoothie, with maca, and marine phytoplankton and drove off to Plymouth to buy us DURIAN.
Jippiehh! The kids get so excited when it comes down to durian. (aehhh,... so do we adults, to be honest)
After we came back we had a mish mash.
Squeezed avocado, crunched carrots, cucumber, and sliced tomatos, all mixed together.
Everybody had a plate.
After that, everybody had a piece of raw chocolate.
I made a hemp, banana, cacao, goji smoothie and we all enjoyed that. In the afternoon I made such a huge green juice!
It was almost a kilo of wild edibles mixed with spring greens, 2 bunches of celery, 6 carrotts, 3 apples and two oranges.
After this, it was time. The best time of the day, because we enjoyed the DURIAN. Complete silence and pure bliss. The children went to bed with bright smiles on their faces, and I took of for an intense swim training and sauna session.
I loved this day!
Stop complaining and start creating the life you want!
I used to do this myself. It is so convenient. But I stopped! I took over the control in my life and started creating the experineces and the feelings I want.

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 20/10/2009
Because our friend brought us this huuuge amount of wild green (chickweed).
Check this out!
We already juiced 1 third of the amount, so what you see here is not all of the wild edibles we had.
It used to be kilos of it, and we ate it all!
It felt so good, and the best part is: Chickweed is our most favourite wild edible, because it tastes so good.
Anyway: We started off with a green smoothie (after I had a 2 glasses of water with marine phytoplankton), todyay not with spinach, but chickweed as green component.
We added water, bananas, maca and marine phytoplankton.
After that we had some veggies.
us mish-mash. That is squeezed avocado mixed with sprouts, small carrott pieces, cucumber and tomatos.
The kids love it, and had a plate each.
That brought us through most of the day.
Afternoon was some mandarines and an apple with chickweed.
Evening was a chocolate cream.
Avocado, carob powder, some honey, water, maca.
Great stuff. Tastes like pudding!! That was it for the day. Kids went off to bed, and I had an hour in the sauna

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 18/10/2009
Superfood green smoothie.
Thats green (spinach,kale) water, 4 bananas, maca and marine phytoplankton.
We spend a nice day out in the dartmoor then. We visited a pony farm, we are often at. It is in the middle of dartmoor, very nature like!
We all had an apple and some avocado with carrot while being there.
When going home in the afternoon, we just saw that a close friend brought us around 4 kilos of chickweed (wild nature edibles growing here). So we made a wild pesto, consisting out of
sunflower seeds, oil, basil, chickweed, salt, water, garlic and lemon. All this came together with veggies.
That was that! I had some water for the evening.

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 17/10/2009
We woke up and - of course- had our famous green smoothie alltogether.
I drank about 2 liters of water with marine phytoplankton during the whole morning.
Then we jumped in our car and drove to Plymouth to one of our favourite stores there: The asian shop.
We bought durian, and goji berries and drove back home in the beautiful sun of fall.
At home the kids enjoyed a JUMPOT. This is superfood.
Coconut mixed with a zip water, lucuma and a little bit of honey, crushed apple, maca and carob powder.
After that there was some veggies (Avocado, carrot, cucumber).
Then I made a big green juice with veggies, 1,5 kilo of green, and 3 apples. After that we were enjoying the bliss of the day.
DURIAN!!
Everybody was silently tasting and enjoying. This was how our day ended.

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 16/10/2009
I have to really watch out better, when my body tells me to stop eating!
Too much pesto yesterday. It is good that my body becomes more and more sensitive to things like this! It was just one spoon enough. But sometimes this one spoon can make such a difference!
I had just 2 glasses of water, and lateron a glas of green smoothie. Just more water until late afternoon.
The kids enjoyed their smoothie, and after that a juicy honey melon. For lunch they had avocados and carrots.
Then there was the time for GRREEEEEN JUUUUIIICE again.
I juices 1 big bunch of celerey, 1 kilo of kale, 300 gr, of spring greens, 6 carrots, 3 apples, and 2 oranges.
Wow!
What a different person I felt after that!
It was like new fuel in my tank. I was healed after that, and felt totally fine and good again!
We shared the juice as a family.
After that the kids had a mushroom salad together with veggies. The kids had the salad for evening meal, and I was so happy with the juice, that i had nothing else! Just some dates and cashews in the evening.
Thats it for today friends! Love and sunlight!
Letting go to receive
Do you know the feeling, when you wanted something so badly, that you whole world circulated around this desire?
Did you ever loose your keys and looked for them everywhere, and couldn’t find them? Haven’t we all experienced this?
And then after you searched all possible places several times, but still did not find them, you finally did let go of it. You did forget about your desire completely. And at exactly this point the magic happened.
In a totally unexpected moment, the thing you wanted so much, weather it was your car key, or any other thing: It was just there. Sometimes at a places you could have sworn that you looked before so many times!
But now it was just there!
What is this magic, so many of us have already experienced?
I call it: letting go to receive!
And about this magic that has happened to all of us, I want to write to you today!
When we are to tense concentrating on a wish, on a thing we want and focus all our attention on it, we get stuck. Stuck in a circulating energy, that makes us blind for the solutions, for the thing we want, that is already there, right before our eyes. We just see a narrow perspective of all that is there, too focused to see the possibilities.
Life and the universe itself is not moving in closed circles, or narrowed in some way. Life is abundance. It is moving and evolving constantly, giving us all we need, and want, when we just are able to see, to receive it. Giving and taking, receiving and letting go again.
Both things belong together. And when you have problems to let go of something, that automatically will make it more difficult for you to receive.
Because you are so concentrated on holding on to things, maintain them, clean them, reorganize and restructure them, that there is just no free space, or no free attention to receive the new things you have ordered, and the universe has already delivered to you.
And the universe is very precise. It never, ever makes a mistake.
To give you a practical example:
Once we lived in a house, and it was like magic. More and more things were finding its way in our cellar, and our free spaces at the roof.
Although we were trying to consciously let go, and organize our belongings, it still felt like we gained more and more stuff, like a magnet.
Then we decided that the point of time had come to do a world travel with our children, which was our dream since we became a family, and even before that.
We took the opportunity and cleared out all our stuff. Most things we gave away as presents to friends and people wanting it, and other stuff was going to the recycling centre.
We tried to give all the things away with loving kindness and thankfulness in our hearts, because it felt better this way.
That was a very intense process, and took a lot of energy; at least as much as getting all the gear together.

Not only physical letting go, organizing and packing all things in a box, driving them to friends, but even more the emotional side of it. Letting go of all the memories and energies that were connected with this specific item.
But maybe you also know the feeling, after you decided and took the action.
You feel good! You feel light! You are free!
New space, free attention and lots of fresh energy!
And this is what it is all about. Let go to receive!
We managed to reduce all our belongings down to 2 small boxes that stayed at our parents places and did a long world travel together with our 2 children at that time with only 1 backpack and a buggy for Jaro!
We felt so rich!
We were free to go whatever way we wanted, choose the direction we liked most and felt best about.
to go, or to stay, to start in a new life and create and live our dream.

And even this light and almost completely empty, the cleaning process was never stopping. It was, and still is, a constant habit.
We were checking and cleaning our single backpack during our travels all couple of weeks, and found stuff that was not of use anymore.
We just did let go of it.
This brings us to a very special sentences that comes up, when ever we clean up. And that is:
“Oh no, I could keep this. It could be useful at some point of time!”
This sentences is the killer of all the action of letting go!
Yet it can be difficult to overcome. It has to do with trust. Trust in yourself, life, and the universe. Trust in the fact that whenever you need something, it will be brought to you at the exact right point of time. Once we fully understand the deep meaning and existence of this law, we do not need to collect and save all sorts of things anymore.
In our experience it never happened, that we did regret any of our clearings, and cleanings.
Whenever we need anything it is just there. It always is. Always will be.

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 15/10/2009
Katie had to work, so I took of with my kiddies gang and spend a beautiful day nearby in a big aquarium.
They absolutly loved it!!
Before we went there we were shopping and bought each 2 big medjool dates and a little handful of cashews.
After this event we returned back home, and I created once more a huuuuuge green juice.
A kilo of spring greens, 300 gr of kale, 1 big bunch of celery, 8 carrots, 3 apples and 2 oranges.
Right after we drank this, I made again a delicious cashew, basil pesto.
(cashews, basil, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, garlic and some soja sauce,... yummo!)
We had this of course with plenty of green, cucumber, carrots and tomatos.
The kids had a slice honey melon before bedtime.
I liked the pesto so much, that I eat too much of it. I felt heavy after that. Because there is mixed fats (oil plus cashews), I have really to watch out, to eat it just as a little extra, and have mostly veggies and green. I did not so today!
Thats why I did no training in the evening, but only relaxing sauna.

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 14/10/2009
We had to wait with our green smoothie, because we ran out of spinach, so the kids had 2 mandarines each, and I had nothing, exept of 2 glasses of fresh water.
When Katie returned from shopping she had 2 big medjool dates for everyone, which was appreciated a lot.
Then there was the green smoothie with spinach, banana and water.
The kids had 2 avocados with carrots and 3 mandarines each.
Before the kids went off to bed we had a nother very huge
green juice.
About one kilo of spring greens, 1 big bunch of celery, 5carrots and 3 apples.
I was going to bed with the 2 younger ones, while Katie was writig her e-Zinwe for tommorow, and Benny was reading Asterix.
When the youngsters were sleeping, I went off to the gym, and had an hour of sauna, and 45 min. of swim training.
I drank 2 liters of water during this time. Now I am having another 2 liters of raw rice protein shake, with bananas and maca.

Fall has arrived!
We had a big green smoothie with the kids for breakfast with
spinach (300 gr.), 4 bananas, water, maca, 1 orange and marine phytoplankton.
After that they had an avocado with carrot each. Benny had 2 and Ronja plus Jaro wanted an aplle afterwards
Around noon I made a very big green juice, with all sorts of wild edibles picked around our house. These wild plants have so much to give. I feel so great when hjaving wild greens!!
The most powerful superfood it is. The juice was made out of
300-400 gr mixed wild edibles, 1 biiig bunch of celery, 10 carrots, 3 apples, 1 orange.
This did nourish me for the wholoe day.
The kids had Sushi as late lunch.
Lettuce, tomato, carrot, little bit of onion, avocado, corn, and a avocado, lemon dressing with a little balsamico and soja sauce plus garlic. All this came along with Raw nori rolls.
As enjoyment I had again a raw chocolate bar. After the kids were in bed, I went of to the gym and went 1,5 hours to the sauna - no break!
I had 3 liters of water, and at the end I was swimming for 45 minutes. Intense training.
At home I made a nice salad.
Veeeery tasty.
After that I had 2 glasses of protein shake (sunwarrior raw rice protein, 2 bananas, water, caob powder and maca). I feel really great tonight. I loved the workout.

The Rawfoodfamily food diary 11/10/2009
(300gr. spinach, 4 bananas, water, maca, marine phytoplankton).
One glas of this was my breakfast. I went out with my two sons and played football until noon, and then went for an hour swimming work out after returning them home to Katie and Ronja.
We made some banana, sunflower, coconut paste in the dehydrator yesterday, so everybody did get a small slice of that.
I had a big green juice in the afternoon, which was made out of
fully ripe pineapple, carrots, apples, kale and wild edibles (nettles, dandelion,...)
This charged me up so intense that I was not hungry for the rest of the day. I had some dates and cashews in the evening, but that was it!
The kids had a mango each for the evening meal, and some banana ice cream. (This is just blended frozen bananas)

We made a green smoothie for the rest of us. (200 gr. Spinach, 150 gr. kale, 4 bananas, maca 1 teaspoon raw agave).
Than I was going shopping with Jaro and we both enjoyed it soo much being together.
We bought cashews and made such a special, delicious meal of the day!!

that was so filling and even a little too much for me.
I just had two glasses of green juice in the evening together with Katie and the kids and a handful of nuts and some dates at the very end of the day.
No swimming today, because yesterday was very exhausting, but 0,5 hour of hot sweating sauna!
Ka Sundance raw food diary 08/10/09
Around noon we created a big bucket of green veggie juice for the whole family again.
The juice consisted out of 2 bunches of celery, 300 gr.spinach, 300 gr. kale and 300gr. spring greens. Some carrots, 2 apples and 1 orange. We added some mace and 1 teaspoon of raw agave.
I had one raw chocolate in the afternoon, and went out for an intense 1,5 hour swimming exercise when the family was in bed. Afterwards I went to the sauna, met a nice raw fooder from south africa and had a very inspiring conversation. I had 2 liters of water. When I came home, I made myself a 2 liter hemp smoothie with some frozen banana and carob. It has become late now (2 am) and I am off to bed.

We had no banana this morning so we made a biiiiig bucket of green veegie juice for the whole family.
That was my start in the day.
Had one raw chocolate in the afternoon and two glasse of water afterwards.
Lateron a hemp smoothie.
Good workout in the swimming pool and a long sauna session in the evening, when the kids where in bed.
Afterwards I had my only meal for the day, and I enjoyed it sooo much.
A big salad, made with spinach, kale, cucumber, tomato little slice of onion anhd mais. I marinated some olives with oil, garlic and organic balsamico. The dressing was avoado, orange, water and a bit of salt,maca and some spirulina.
Damn, I feel sooo great!
Ka Sundance food diary - starting today!
Hello dear friends of the light.
People are asking what it is that I eat, especially, because I managed to gain muscle weight in the last couple of months, and so I thought to post what I am eating and drinking during my day.
From today on I will start to post here, what I am eating, to give you an idea what the raw food diet in real life looks like.
Bare in mind that I already do this for 4 years. My system has become quite efficent, and I need less food, than somebody would need, who is just starting with this diet.
My intention is not to tell you, that you should also eat that way. You should not! You should really listen to what your body tells you, and see my posts just as an interesting inspiration.
Ok. Here we go:
* I started the day - like most days- with a glas green smoothie (100gr spinach, water, 2 bananas, 2 teaspoons maca)
* At around 3 pm we had raw vegan pesto made out of sunflower seeds, olive oil, garlic, a bit salt, lemon and lots of fresh basil. This was together with tomato, salad, cucumber and carrots.
* In the evening after my kids went to bed with Kati, I went to the pool, and had an intense 1 hour swimming workout followed by a sauna session. Now I sit here with 2 glasses of green juice which is very empowering (1 bunch of celery, 4 carrots, 1 bunch black kale, 2 apples, teaspoon maca and some goji berries.
Thats it. I feel soooo good after workout, sauna and my green juice!!I try to keep you updated as much as possible on that!

- I had a glas green smoothie for breakfast (150 gr. spinach / 2 bananas / water / maca)
I felt passionate about the Rawfoodfamily TV-Show today and did do this early this morning. I spend time with my kids, and Katie was working.
- I made some fruits for the kids at lunch, but did not have any.
- Had a piece of raw chocolate in the early afternoon.
- Than a glass of green juice together with the kids.
- Late afternoon the rest of the pesto from yesterday, with veggies and some spinach.
- We made some banana ice-cream for evening. Maybe 2 frozen bananas in the blender.
Went out for swimming and the sauna in the evening and was sweating for 1 1/2 hours. Now I am back home and have a liter of fresh water to dehydrate. I feel good !

The best chocolate cake of the universe

Hello! Today we had some extraordinary food, because we celebrated Bennys birthday. Of course, we just did a delicious birthday cake, and everybody was enjoying in silence.
Here are the few ingredients and measurements you need to create this great cake.
200 gram virgin cacao butter
3 table spoons coconut butter
1/3 cup of agave syrup
1/4 cup of cacao powder
350 gr raw macadamia nuts
On top
strawberries or raspberries
You just have to set the cocnut butter and the cacao butter in a pot in some warm water to make it fluid, Than mix all together, and put it into a bold. Set it in the fridge over night. The next morning you can add some berries on top,... Done.
It is really simple and soooo delicious!!
We also had - of course our green smoothie. The cake and the smoothie just are so nourishing, that we had nothing else until 2pm. Than we hade some nectarines with spinach. Evening was some peppers, cucumber, avocados, carrots,..
We drunk water today, because the cake was dry and the kids played so much.

Raw food recipes - Raw pizza
Raw Pizza with the Rawfoodfamily.
We first created the underground, mainly consisting out of Sunflower seeds, Linseeds and soya-sauce.
This comes in the dehydrator and will stay there for one day.
Than we created a tomato sauce as first layer on the ground.
just tomatos, italian herbs, a sip of oil and salt.
You can add all sorts of veggies on that, whatever you like!
That`s it!
You put this in the dehydrator again, or -like we- eat it like it is!
It is delicious!

About salt
This is a special issue, because when you go raw together with your family, you will discover that in cooked food is almost in every dish lots of it.
One or two sentences about the minerals in the salt, most people think we need.
First of all: If you use salt, please just use Himalayan Salt or high value sea salt. This is much better, and has more different minerals as component.
Second: If you make sure that you eat enough green (there we are again), than you do NOT need salt for that reason. But you have to make sure you eat lots of green, and also again wild edibles, they are so mineral rich, that you will be safe!!
When we started our diet we had still some salt together with our raw gourmet dishes. Most of the raw gourmet - which is good in the beginning because you will be able to substitute all your cravings - has salt in it.
But we discovered two problems coming up with the usage of salt.
1. It makes greedy. You are likely to eat more than you normally would, because the salt tastes good. We felt this greed sometimes not centered in the intuitive feeling that just needs this nutritious component right now, but more orientated as a taste. A pleasureful taste the tongue want to have more. The tongue not the body!
2. It covers the natural flavour of the beautiful Raw food. This means it is more difficult t connect with the inner voice, the inner feeling which speaks with a clear voice what it needs and how much of it.
So this is a tricky topic. Although it would be best to let go of the salt, to get a better connection to our deeper voice, and deeply feel all the great flavours and honour them, it is on the other hand also important not to make to radical changes.
If you can make radical changes - good. But we discovered, that it is more easy and more likely that you will stay raw, if you change slow but sure - better than all or nothing.
So our recommendation is: If you really have the feeling you or your kids need the salt, use it. But be conscious with it. We all tend to eat far too much of it. If it is possible try some time totally without it. Just to see how you feel, what difference it makes and to get a new point of view.
We did months and months without salt, and felt really good with it. Actually we felt better and closer to nature and total health with no salt.
So with this last sentences we will let you go in your day, together with your family.

We do homeschool our kids, which allows them so much freedom in how they learn, what they learn,..
They also are free from this power and teasing games which are played all over in normal schools. So they grow up, which the best and highest vibrating food, the freedom of finding out for themself, what they want to be, and where their strenghts and gifts are.

Here are some principles, you have to be aware of, to get the best possible food for your self and your family.
First of all: get ORGANIC and LOCAL GROWN food
You do not want to suffer diseases because you have all the pesticides and chemicals that come along with "normal" food. Also by buying local, you support the farmers in your environement and do not add power to the big food companies that rule almost all of the western societies.
Second: eat as much Raw food as possible. By doing that, you not only support your own health, because Raw food is probably the best thing you can do to increase your health, you also make a strong ethical, moralic and even political statement, towards a world in harmony with mother nature!
The best and most healthy food, is the food that was growing ion your own garden fed with your loving hands and harvested with passion and gratitude!

Raw food recipes - burgers
Raw Burgers. It is easy to make, and tastes delicious.
All you need is:
300-400 gr Brazil nuts
300-400 gr carrots
1 bunch of parsley
1/4 cup olive oil
1 squeezed lemon
a bit of salt, Soya sauce
Mix it all together, and form the burgers out of it. Then serve it with tomato, peppers, cucumber, onions, what ever you like!

Raw food restaurants!
We found out, that there is a 100% Raw food restaurant in Brighton. because we haven`t been in a Restaurant since we became raw as a family, and that is 4 years now, we all became so excited and went to this place.
It was so great to sit in a place with all just Raw living fod around yourself! The kids had a raw ice-cream and I had a chat with the owner of the place.
I decided to do a Rawfoodfamily TV-Show with him and interviewed the man about his shop and beyond it.

the 9 biggest mistakes on a Rawfood diet
1. Avoid eating too much. Most of the time we eat, we eat because of emotional reasons, we eat because we are sad, angry, excited or lonesome. there are so many reasons to eat. But the best reason is: Eat when you are hungry!!
2. Avoid bad food combinations. Dont combine for example nuts and dried fruits, or when you do that, eat just a little amount of this.
3. Avoid supermarket fruits and veggies! Eat only ORGANIC
4. Do not overeat fats! Most nuts are not raw anyway, and they are not so good to digest . best sources of fat is: Coconut, Avocado, raw olives and some fatty fruits like: DURIAN
5. One of the biggest Mistakes: Not eating enough green leaf vegetables!!! This is so important. Make sure you eat plenty of green every day!!! You must make sure you do that, when you want to feel vibrant and superhealthy!!
6. Sleep enough,
7. Get good relaxation,
8. Go outside in nature and
9. Do some sport!!
If you take care of these principles you will be on the safe side and experience such a vibrant health, you never ever thought that it was possible!!

The biggest lies about "raw" and "organic" products
Eating the Rawfood diet is one of the best and most transforming things you can do to change your life for good, but still; especially when you start of with this beautiful diet, or you have children to take care of, there are some important things you have to know, to avoid the mistakes some people do on a Raw food diet.
When you want to be successful and get all the beautiful benefits of this diet everybody talks about, you will have to make sure that all the food that you eat is raw for real!
And some of the "Raw food" you buy in the supermarket is not raw at all!!
This is because the producers of the food are able to label their products as raw even if there is not a 100% Raw ingredients in it!
The laws here in England makes that possible! I am not sure how things are in the US, but here it is enough to have a certain percentage of the product in raw quality, to put the label "RAW" on it. This may not be a problem for many costumers, but for people who want to be certain, this could be a disaster.
Another point is, about dried products, like dried fruits, nori sheets, some fruit bars..
In order to have a real raw product, things should not be heaten over 42 degrees, becaus enzymes get destroyed then!
Many of the dried fruits, fruit bars soya suces, sweeteners like agave syrup are heated OVER this magical border!

What can I eat on the raw food diet ?
So what is it?
To have one bottom line:
The raw food diet consists out of raw vegan natural food not processed with heat over 42 degree.
At this temperature the enzymes will die and decrease the nutrition a lot. So if you like dried fruits, and raw gourmet dishes, be really aware that you do not buy products that have been dried over this magical life border, or you do not know exactly how they have been treatened.
Most products you do not know exactly how they have been processed, have been treated badly.

Second point is:
Eat organic and local grown!
You do not want pestizides, hormones and other chemicals in your body, and therefore : Eat organic.
Be eating local, you will support your local farmers, avoid pollution, because your products did not fly with an airplane all around the globe,and on top of that, you will get in touch with the energy of the land you live on. This will harmonize your vibrational level.
Third point:
To name it: Fruit veggies, seeds, sprouts, nuts and wild edibles. You can combine these aspects, andd create all sorts of delicious dishes with these magnificent components.
One word about fruits: Try to get OLD fruits like Durian, Jackfruit, Coconut,..
These Old fruits are packed with old information and loaded with vitamins, minerals and good sun-packed energy from a tropical environement!
Most "normal" fruits are hybrid and trained to be high in sugar and without seeds, so that some of them couldn�t even survive in natute without man. (Like the seedless watermelons)
These fruits have lost lots of their original nutrition, and are of far less value compared to a fabulous DURIAN wich has been around here for millions of years!!

The human body needs 3 things:
1. Fruit sugar
2. Fat
3. Minerals
Fruit sugar you will get of course out of fruits ( again try to get OLD fruits).
Fat you will get from food like coconut, avocado, olives, again fatty fruits like durian and nuts

Experience the energy filed of things with a cloth hanger !!
It is a proofen fact that living things have an energy field around it.
This is measurable with scientific certainty.
Here we want to add a fresh view on this topic.
We have tried a really simple technique together with our children, we want to share with you in this article, to make this aura, or energy field if you wish visible, and bring you in contact with the feeling!
If you practice this, you will be able to feel, or see it without the tools. It is just a matter of practice and tuning in.
Just get a cloth hanger or two pieces of wire. Form two pieces shaped like an L.
Hold these pieces gently in your hand and focus on an object, while you point the wires towards the object you are walking to.
Walk towards it and see what happens,�.
To have an easy start: Try it with a tree. They have a clear aura, the wires will easily react on.

Superfood recipe / easy to make
Hemp seeds have an established place in history as a nourishing and delicious food. Cultures from around the world have their local recipes. Russians make porridge, sweets and a delicious butter said to be superior to peanut butter. The Chinese enjoy snacks of roasted seeds and in South Africa babies are weaned on a hemp "Pablum".
In fact, the medicinal properties of hemp seeds in ancient Chinese pharmacopoeia are substantial. No other single plant source can compare with the nutritional value.
Both the complete protein and the essential oils contained in hemp seed are in ideal ratios for human nutrition.
A pound of hemp seed would provide all the protein, essential fatty acids and dietary fiber necessary for human survival for two weeks. The protein in hemp contains all eight amino acids essential to life and is easily digested.
A nutritional analysis of hemp seed is impressive. Compared to flax and soy, hemp is more biologically compatible with the human body. Many people have trouble digesting soy products due to the oligosaccharide content, which can cause gas and stomach upsets. Hemp does not create these problems.
Consumption of hemp oil and hemp seed is ideal for people with low essential fatty acid intake, and also perfect for athletes. It is of course particularly valuable to the veggie/vegan population, and even more so for veggie/vegan athletes, who are always looking for complete protein sources.

How are you and your family today?
To keep up with intersesting content, we will share some thoughts about educating kids.
We made so good experiences doing waht we do, that we want to share from our knowledge and give you something to think about.
Even if your kids are at a normal school, you may find some things here interesting.
This way of education means trusting that your child will learn what he/she needs to learn for his/her life.
It's not following some educator or bureaucrat's guidelines. Children are unique and each will need their own unique knowledge and skills to become the adult he/she is meant to be. All we, as parents, can do is be his/her facilitator - providing him/her with the needed resources and the freedom in which to learn.
Children will learn. They crave learning, just as they need air to breathe and food to eat. Remember how your toddler found everything new and exciting? If your child has attended public school, you have probably seen that, after a few years, their love for learning and their excitement about the world slowly faded away.
This is called unscholing, and we do it for years now with our children.
For our family, unschooling brought back that excitement.
Children are like flowers. Give them lots of love (sunshine), some gentle guidelines (weeding), lots of freedom to learn what they want (rain), and lots of resources to learn from (soil), and they will bloom!
What, specifically, is it about schools that unschoolers want to do without?
The School Organization
* Breaking up the day into learning time and play time.
* Starting and stopping learning (or shifting topics) according to an externally-imposed schedule.
* Telling students what they should care about.
* Telling students when they should care about it.
* Telling students what is good enough.
* The complex hierarchy with the student at the bottom.
The De-humanizing Aspects of Schools
* Having to ask permission for basic human needs.
* Having to supply "acceptable" excuses for absence or lateness.
* Routine abridgment of human (constitutional) rights.
* Standing in lines, waiting for everything: food, water, attention of the teacher, time on the computer, etc.
* Group rewards and punishments.
* Neglect of individual gifts and problems.
* Moving at the sound of a bell.
* Students coming to view themselves as products, moving down a 12-year assembly line, with bits of knowledge poured in or bolted on by others as the belt moves along. Seeing the primary responsibility for their education as being in the hands of others.
Isolation from the Real World
* Segregation by chronological age.
* Separation from family.
* Isolation from the working world.
* Isolation from the effects of age and disease.
* "Free" education isolates children from economic reality.
* Subject matter is divorced from context.
Schedule Rigidity
* Having to be in school at certain times means you can't see the World Cup or a solar eclipse if it happens during the school day, and you can't see the late show or a lunar eclipse if you have to get up in the morning.
* Having to be in school limits your ability to travel.
* Having to be in school limits your ability to do any time-consuming worthwhile activity.
Note that these issues do not address the questions of "problem schools." They are unrelated to questions of crime, drugs, threat of violence, time spent in forced commuting, illiterate teachers, etc. The problems unschoolers specifically care about exist (to a greater or lesser extent) even in "good" schools.

Greens for children
Hallo everybody,
Today I wanted to talk about children and greens.
It is really, really , really important to make sure, that your raw children have plenty of greens. Even if you don`t raise your kids on a rawvegan diet you could still give them greens in a juice or smoothie for example.
Our children love their greens. They eat a big variety, of spinach, kale, wild edibles and sometimes chlorella. They have a green smoothie twice a day and in between some green leaves with their fruits and vegtables.
Our daughter Ronja, which is our first 100% Rawfood child likes to eat daisies or any kind of green leaves freshly picked. She is so natrual with this, that she never questions it.
One of the biggest mistakes raising rawfood children to leave out the greens. Yes, it is maybe hard to get used to them, or pick them, but everybody can do it!!! You can for example just grow them in your garden, that way you make sure you always have fresh greens. And by the way: children really enjoy gardening. It is fascinating for them to see something grow and even better to eat it.

Our Rawfood kids
Hello everybody
Today I was going to the market, and bought our fruit and veges for the day. When I came back home and the kids were preparing the meal, sitting down at the table and eating, I started to wonder.
They naturally started eating spinach with the fruits. I recognized, how normal it became for them, to eat the so important green.
It was not always like that. When we started Rawfood, we mainly eat fruits, nuts and dried fruit. That was good for the beginning, but the longer we do this kind of diet, the more we discoverded the importance of the high energetic greens, to establish our high level of health.
Nowdays, we eat green to almost all our meals. We make smoothies, and we eat it also as salad or with fruits. It has became a habit, and we feel even more healthy and energized with this magical food.
And the children by now, ask for it.

Today I want to share my thoughts about relaxation with you. Nowdays it has almost a negative touch about it, in our busy world. But in order to reach shining health, we have to find the right balance between, tension (work, sport, other activities) and good relaxation.
What is good realxation?
Certanly there are better ways, than sitting in front of your TV or computer, or just eating for relaxation
I belive it is most efficient going outside in nature. Find trees, go to forests or lakes and just be with them, listen to them. Take your time being with yourself. You have earned it, and you deserve some time just doing nothing and being selfish on your on. This is an investment in yourself, your health.
By being selfish in this sense, others around you will definetivly benefit from you! Because you will be more patient, open and happy around your loved ones!
So go out, enjoy yourself and
make it the best day of your life!!
